Money Doesn’t Trust Itself

Have you ever noticed that American currency doesn’t really trust itself? Or at least if it has any faith in itself, that trust is only a byproduct of trust and faith in something undefined and yet infinite?

Take a moment to strip away the theological and political interpretations and misinterpretations of the word God. Picture for a moment, if you will, a vast starlit sky. Imagine the immensity of space, the universe, infinite and incomprehensible. Now picture a little dollar bill.

Where is your trust and faith?
